Solutions
This type of hearing loss has no medical treatment. The most important thing you can do, is try and keep those nerves stimulated with sound, so that your brain continues to
recognize it. Once the signal is forgotten, it will not come back. Early intervention in
hearing loss with hearing devices is crucial. This way your brain continues to recognize the sound. This is better explained in the book When The Brain Cant Hear.
Other types of hearing loss such as conductive or mixed loss can be treated by a physician who specializes in diseases of the ear. These types of hearing loss are easily detected by your local HearingPro professional. If it is noticed, we will reccomend you to a local physician or your own.
Either way, it is beneficial for you to keep on type of your hearing health. The FDA reccomends that persons over 55 get their hearing tested yearly for early detection.
